The photo of the 2 Franks is just too cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of Frank wth Frank! I have such a soft spot for pugs. With all my many cats, I don't think there is a lap to spare for a pug and far too many claws to swipe slightly bulgy eyes, but maybe someday....I loved Before She Was Harriet. The illustrations are superb, and the writing is also quite beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLike the others, love your pic of Frank and Frank. Will look for Thirteen Ways of Looking at A Black Boy. Thanks, Beth!
ReplyDeleteThe watercolor illustrations in Before She Was Harriet are simply breathtaking. I loved that book. Help Find Frank looks like a fun book, and I'm always sold when a pug recommends a book! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThese are all new to me! Lost in the Library looks like one I would especially enjoy.
ReplyDeleteAh, I see our library has Before She Was Harriet. I need to check it out soon! Lost in the Library also looks good - hurry up August! And I'm interested in reading Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Black Boy. Will this make me cry? Thank you so much for sharing your reads, Beth. Have a WONDERFUL week!
