A picture book that brilliantly sets up the thesis that humans are more alike than different by showing the ways we are alike/different to other objects. A great read aloud for Preschool-1st grade classes.

I love the idea of a pen being the line to a person's heart. Definitely got to read Hummingbird.
ReplyDeleteHummingbird is already on my list. I can't wait to read it. As much as I enjoyed King of Kindergarten, I had a problem with the king idea. I wanted all the children to be kings or queens or whatever - so long as they are all equal.
